Authorities reported that a 21 year old man who was allegedly driving recklessly in Placer County was killed in a car accident.
The accident occurred around 1 p.m. on Wednesday when the driver swerved into a turning lane south of Cramer Road and hit a pickup truck. Upon hitting the truck, the driver lost control and collided with another car. The collision sent both cars to the right of the shoulder.
The 21 year old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car was hospitalized with major injuries. The driver of the truck that was initially hit suffered minor injuries.
On Thursday, the Placer County Sheriff’s Office stated that they’re investigating that the young man suffered a medical event and that may have been the cause.
